YakAttack Visicarbon Pro - Repair - Mods My YakAttack Visicarbon Pro has seen better days. I have had it for three years and it has done well, but time and saltwater takes it's toll on everything. I was just about to toss it in the garbage and start over again when I decided to try and repair the different problems I was having. The problems. 1) The light and battery housing was corroded. 2) The Carbon fiber pole was broken where it inserts into the base. 3) The MightyBolt and the nut inside the base corroded together and I was not able to unscrew. After using some trial and error, I was able to resolve each of the problems in an economical way that in some cases surpassed the original design.
