Only 1.5 hours away from the city, Doi Inthanon is a perfect day trip from Chiang Mai. The Doi Inthanon National Park is the highest point in Thailand, and the road there is beautiful. Two of our friends, Chris and Molly will be joining us on this Thailand Epic Motorbike Trip The entrance fee to the Doi Inthanon Chiang Mai National Park is 300 Bhat per person and 10 Bhat per motorcycle. The first stop on our Doi Inthanon trip is the Wachiratan Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. Right next to the waterfall, there are a couple of local restaurants and food stalls. We decided to have our lunch there and we got some delicious Thai food. After lunch, we got back on our bikes and headed over to the highest point in Thailand. 15 minutes later, we got to the top of the mountain, at an altitude of 2565 meters above sea level. There was a small hike and at the end of it, there were multiple shops and cafes where we stoped for a quick coffee break. After our coffee break, we headed down the mountain, to the Doi Inthanon Pagodas. We had to leave our bikes in the parking lot and take the Songtao to the actual Pagodas, since motorbikes and cars are not allowed there. The ride to the actual Pagodas is short, about 3 to 5 minutes car ride. The entrance fee for the Pagodas is 100 Bhat. Both The Queen and King Pagodas are surrounded by beautiful gardens. Near both Pagodas, there are beautiful viewpoints where you can admire the Northers Thailand Mountain Ranges. We loved our day trip to Doi Inthanon Thailand and if you are in Chiang Mai, we highly recommend to come visit the National Park. Social Media: Cristina: / ghe_cristina Chip: / chip.ge
