Writer's Rush is a game about becoming the very best author in the entire world! Aiming high! We take on the role of an author in a competition against three others. If we finish in the top two then we move up a level and take on a new challenge, and the challenges aren't just "make most money", there's actual strategy to them which is quite refreshing! As we write we get to choose the genre of story we're writing and then a theme. We've chosen to be an author with a bit of a sci-fi speciality so we go down the route of science fiction. I won't spoil the books we write but they have some wonderful titles! After some optional research for our book we then get to choose our main character, we pick a plot, a story climax and the ending, plus we adjust various sliders to control how much effort we put into things like dialogue, setting, atmosphere, world building, romance and all that stuff. We can spend money on new equipment and courses, our rivals can challenge us or work with us, we earn experience points, random events change the game, it's all going on in the world of books!
