[1][3][4] he has voiced many film songs in bangladesh and other countries, for which he is known as the playback emperor. his most popular songs include"life story is few and few,""hey man rangin fanus","dakhai dayal amere", "mera saar body kheo go mitti", "mine in my chest", "the first day in my father's face", "broken cage matching wings", "everyone wants love", etc. [5][6] kishore started taking music training from the age of six. after the liberation war of bangladesh, he was enrolled in nazrul, rabindra, folk music and patriotic songs section sings in rajshahi radio. his first song in the film, mail train (1977), "there is no princess of achinpur". he was a very good guy (1982) and won his first national film award in the best male vocalist category for his song "hey man colored fanus". he then won seven more national film awards for songs such as surrender (1987), compensation (1989), padma meghna jamuna (1991), qabool (1996), aaj gaye turmeric (2000), sajghar (2007) and ki magic karilla (2008). [7] he has also received numerous awards and honors, including the bachsas award five times and the merrill-pratham alo award twice. early life andrew kishore was born on november 4, 1955 in rajshahi district. his father khetish chandra barai and mother minu barai worked in a hospital in rajshahi. the mother had a hand-picked study. he spent his childhood and adolescence in rajshahi. his mother was a music fan, his favourite artist was kishore kumar. 'kishore' named his child after the favourite artist. he steps into the music to fulfill his mother's dream. andrew started taking music lessons initially under kishore abdul aziz bachchu. after the liberation war of bangladesh, kishore nazrul, rabindranath,were artists listed in rajshahi radio in modern, folk and patriotic songs. kishore studied in the management department at rajshahi university. background music life andrew kishore's journey as a background musician in the film started in 1977 with the song "there is no princess of achinpur" from the mail train film composed by alam khan. [9] his second recorded song is "dhoom dhadakka" by emil's detective force film directed by badal rahman. however, the first audience listened to his song and the song gained popularity in the 1979 film ek chor jaye chale, directed by aj mintu. [10] he recorded other playback songs such as'dayal amere','love me only'. kishore was the first to receive the honour in the film song for his good guy (1982). directed by mohiuddin, the song by syed shamsul haque and"hey man rangin fanus"to the tune of alam khan gained popularity and for the first time he won the national film award for best male vocalist. [5] in 1984, ahmed imtiaz bulbul's songs and tunes voiced three songs from nayan's alo, "my whole body kheo go mati", "the first day on my father's face" and "in the middle of my chest". it is bulbul's first film as a full-fledged music director. due to the low production cost of the film, he could not take in big and busy artists like syed abdul hadi, runa lailaand sabina yasmin. as a result, andrew selected kishore for male voice and samina chowdhury for female voice. yet all three of his songs gained a lot of popularity on actor zafar iqbal's lips. [11][5] in 1987, he composed three songs in the song of alam kan in surrender, "everyone wants love", "gun aaj bhagaan", and "the clock is right" in the meantime, the first song gained popularity and he won his second national film award for the song. [5] he also won seven more national film awards for his songs in compensation (1989), padma meghna jamuna (1991), qabool (1996), aaj gaye turmeric (2000), sajghar (2007) and ki magic karilla (2008). institutions andrew kishore is also a businessman. in 1987, he always inaugurated an advertising firm titled 'pravah' for tv dramas, commercials and other productions with ahmad yusuf, anwar hossain bulu, dolly zahoor,didarul alam badal, shamsul islam nantu. personal life andrew was married to teenager lipika andrew iti. they have two children. their daughter, minnie andrew, defines and son joy andrew saptak. death kishore died on july 6, 2020 at the age of 64. he was treated at singapore general hospital for a long time after suffering from non-hodgkinson lymphoma. the renowned musician did not eradicate cancer despite being treated in singapore. he returned home on june 11, 2020 after nine months of cancer as the doctor gave up. he was in rajshahi till his death.
