As a result, I couldn't miss this opportunity to do a vlog and a train journey on this Diversion! Taking us through the Tyne Valley Line, through to Carlisle and onto the West Coast Mainline in Avanti West Coast territory up to Scotland! It definitely felt a little different compared to normally going up through Berwick-upon-Tweed and then up to Edinburgh Waverley that way.
