Williamson Valley Road travels across Arizona, from Prescott to Seligman, and driving on it has been said to be like driving back in time. The road is designated a scenic and historic route, and follows paths that have been in use for hundreds of years. From Native American game trails, stagecoach toll roads, roads used by the Army in the Indian Wars, to modern automobiles, Williamson Valley Road (once known as the Simmons Highway) has seen it all. The road has been called one of the most scenic in Arizona, but we wanted to see for ourself if it fits the bill. We traveled the 70 miles from Arizona's territorial capital of Prescott to Seligman, passing by a number of historic and prehistoric sites. Along the way we discuss the roads history, and see what sites we can find along the way, including an old bridge that was built in 1912, but relocated here in 1936, and a forgotten cemetery. Mileage for various sites along the route is included in the video. ○ Gear we use: https://www.amazon.com/shop/sidetrack... ►Join us on Patreon: / sidetrackadventures ►Please subscribe for weekly updates showcasing some of our adventures: / @sidetrackadventures ►Also please follow Sidetrack Adventures on Instagram: / sidetrackadventures ►Music in this video is from Epidemic Sounds; use our link for a free trial: https://share.epidemicsound.com/v927fj
