1991 Mercedes 560sel 37k miles FOR SALE, $33k firm

A truly excellent example of a last year W126 560SEL. 37k miles. Drives beautifully. Fast! Cold A/C. All electronics work (except as listed below). If you know what this car is, you will understand why it's worth all of $33k. Have a look at the Bring a Trailer picture I included (FB Marketplace listing). There was a recent 420SEL that sold in July with more miles, and about the same condition as my 1991 560SEL. It sold for way more than I'm asking (and the 560's are worth considerably more than the 420's). Plus, you don't have to pay the B.A.T. auction fee of 5% more. If I cannot sell locally, I will list it on BAT, and likely get more money for the car. Cosmetically and mechanically almost perfect (remember, it's 33yr old!). This car doesn't even leak (dry garage floor)! Here is a short video of it running:    • 1991 Mercedes 560sel 37k miles FOR SA...   Interior: 9.5 or more out of 10 Exterior: Almost 10 out of 10 Mechanical: 9.5 or more out of 10. $18k exterior restoration in June of 2024, including a complete repaint by Sears Mercedes Restoration Center here in Minneapolis. Another $4k in mechanical updating has been done. Some things updated/replaced in the last year: 1) All belts 2) All front end bushings/rubber, control arms, tie rods, etc. (drives quietly and straight) 3) Alignment 4) 4 new rotors and pads 5) New Gullideckel Wheels with new Continental tires It's a 33 year old car, with very few remaining issues: 1) Tachometer doesn't work 2) Needs Becker Amp (radio works, but needs the rear amp replaced) 3) The Bosch K Jetronic needs some adjustment to be perfect, but it starts and idles fine (see video). I just want perfection here. 4) Slight vibration at certain speeds on highway. This could be one or more things: carrier bearing, motor mounts, rear differential mounts, sagging rear (which could just be an SLS adjustment). I'm continuing to invest in this car. The price will go up over time as I make it more and more perfect. The miles will go up slightly, as I drive it regularly (about 500 miles a year).
