Hi, after a long usage of after effects and stuff i collected some informations that will at least make your after effects run 2 to 5 times faster , depends on your PC! if you need help feel free to contact me on discord : Fleackss#6241 instagram : @fleackss 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣𝗦 - 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗗 1-EMPTY DISK in your after effects , click "Edit" in the top of your screen, then click preferences and choose "media and disk cache". besides emptying the disk cache, make sure that "Enable disk cache" is enabled! 2-CHANGE YOUR AFTER EFFECTS VERSION this one can make after effects work very faster if you use 2019 or older for good PCs , if your pc is very weak use 2017 and older! 3-MEMORY LOCATING this option let you choose how much ram you want to leave for other programs while using adobe apps, Like if you have 8gb of ram and you left 2gb of ram of other apps, After effects will use 6gb of ram. 4-AFTER EFFECTS"S LOCATION please if you want to install or reinstall after effects please make sure you install it on a disk that has the biggest free space ( example : if you have a 290gb free space in disk F and 120gb free in disk C , choose the disk F. 5-DRIVER UPDATES open "Device manager" , and check if your disk & display & processors drivers are up to date. How?
