Playing through Beyond Shadowgate, a point-and-click adventure game where you start with breaking out of prison and then get roped into saving the land. Of course, as a sequel to Shadowgate there are a great many ways to meet a terrible end (including testing a variety of lethal items on yourself). I had a great time playing this and have looked forward to this since the Kickstarter but I've had a fondness for this style of games since playing Shadowgate as a kid and playing other games in this style, including GrahfMetal's Infested and Spectacle. So I might be a bit biased. It was also neat to see side adventures with Uninvited and Deja Vu. There are four endings to the game with this being the best outcome (placing a different item in the finale will lead to a different ending). Depending on how you resolve things in the manor ending B or D will be possible to get. Your final play time is lower than expected as the in-game timer pauses whenever text is up.
