DIY Paramotor Headset build – Bluetooth & UHF Radio Integration

In this episode of my 'One Man Workshop' series, I show you how I integrated a cheap Amazon Bluetooth motorcycle intercom into my Peltor ear defenders. I also use the opportunity to fit another intercom system, so I can use my UHF radio whilst I'm in flight too. This uses a DIY interface cable with a PTT (Push To Talk) button mounted in my ear cup for easy use. This is not aimed to be a tutorial, but more of a video to inspire you on how you can build one for your self, with a little bit of knowledge and time. I had a budget of £150 to design and fabricate everything I needed. I completed my build for around £110. You can buy off the shelf audio systems designed for Paramotoring, however they are all out of my budget so I took on the challenge of making my own that should last me many, many flying seasons.
