This event, Hosted by Drift Indy, Drift Appalachia, and Backroads of Appalachia, is the first time a public road (touge) has been closed down for paying drivers to drift legally! The road was closed for 45 minutes at a time then opened for 15 to let traffic through, all while being watched over by local police. My friends and I had a blast and we want to thank everyone who made it possible and a big thank you to Edgar for allowing us to come and allowing me to do media. This footage was all shot in 4k on a Canon r6 mkii.
