This video can not be taken or reuploaded without permission from me Hi all, so Innsbruck has been a place on my to do list for a few years now, I never really got around to visiting until now, and I must say I regret not going earlier. Innsbruck is an absolutely stunning place, and the airport is a must visit for aviation enthusiasts/plane spotters alike. A great weekend away, and I can't wait to come back again soon Anyway, a grand flight across with Thomas Cook, fabulous service delivered from the flight crew, a nice and comfortable 90 minute ride to Innsbruck. We started our trip by departing what was a very grim and murky Gatwick, not long after rotating we went into the clouds, but once out we had a great view of the sunrise skies. Then, the approach into Innsbruck, well I must say it was perhaps the most beautiful approach/landing I've ever experienced. The views of the Austrian Alps were just amazing, as you will see in the video. The flight ended with a rather firm touchdown on Runway 26, and a quick taxi to stand.
