[Transperth] Adtranz Transperth A Series [29/16/21] - Warwick » Stirling (Yanchep Line) Filmed on 16 September 2024 Here have 3 A Series trains coupled together, Set 29, Set 16 and Set 21 running on W patterns between Whitfords and Cockburn Central. There was another 6 Car A Series (26+45+3) doing the same W pattern. The trains after turning around at Cockburn Central on the Mandurah Line were running all the way up to Yanchep and not to Whitfords during peak hours. This is the very first time I’ve taken an A Series on the Yanchep Line, as they only started running again on this line in 2024. Between 2016/17 to 2024 there were no revenue A Series trains running on the Yanchep and Mandurah Lines. Before the Yanchep Extension opened, the A Series would run in 4 car sets and not 6.
