Walking St Kenelm’s Way - Part 2 | Pinvin to Winchcombe | 50 Miles Walk

This video shares with you my 4 day, 50 mile walk of St Kenelm’s Way, which runs from the St Kenelm’s Church, Romsley in the Clent Hills southward to Abbey Terrace, Winchcombe in the Cotswolds. The Way links the ancient Chapel of Saint Kenelm, which stands on the site of his legendary martyrdom to the now lost Winchcombe Abbey where his body was laid to rest. Due to the length of St Kenelm’s Way which is approximately 50 miles, I have broken my journey into two separate videos. Part 1, Clent to Pinvin, Days 1 and 2, This video covers the route from the start of the walk at St Kenelm’s Church to an overnight stop in Wychbold (11.4 miles). The next day I walked the 14.6 miles to Pinvin just north of Pershore. Note: The final part of the walk was delayed by a week due to flooding of the River Avon around Pershore. Part 2, Pinvin to Winchcombe, Days 3 and 4 (this video), This video covers the route from Pinvin over Bredon Hill to an overnight stop at Ashton Under Hill (12.1 miles). The next day I walked the 12.3 miles to the end of the Way at Abbey Terrace, Winchcombe.
