Trying to do BoSM LNN is so absurd that I thought - "Hey, that's something for me lmao". The better (worse?) I tried that with MarisaB the Flamethrower. Just to try if it's possible to get at least a low-miss with her. Apparently - yes, it is. But never again, going back to ReimuA :^) I could use MarisaA instead, or ReimuA, or Sanae. Sure, while Sanae is OP and Reimu is the most balanced option, I didn't want to leave Marisa and decided to make NB with her. But after several tries, I thought - maybe should I use MarisaB instead - give that flamethrower a try. But it wasn't so trivial. The primary pro of her is ability to melt bosses in an instant. Literally - many attacks are simply killed before they even have a chance to threaten you. But, her short range has many disadvantages. The biggest con is her range of the shot. While the power recompenses it at most, there are some places where it is a HUGE con. We're talking about Stage 4 & 5. I beg you, these stages are just cruel. Without careful dodging and well-crafted strat, it is impossible to get through it without a scratch. Really, give it a try. I dare you. The worse are some attacks, definitely easier with other characters, like Shella's Last Word, Ichiyou's final spellcard, Nezu's midboss non (what the fridge is that sh.....) and her nons on main fight. And, at the end, Fuma's TLB attack. You gotta be careful with this one. I barely perfected it :v If you're wondering whether I'm really going for LNN - actually not. Of course it would be neat if during my plays I acquired it, yet it is NOT my primary goal. I don't want Touhou to eat my whole free time so I play "casually", not counting on getting a perfect clear. Instead I'd rather challenge myself with playing tougher to play characters or beating absurdly difficult fangames/ultras.
