Rethinking Memory & Retention of Learning: Tips for Parents: Tracy Dignum at TEDxWestVancouverED

Tracy Dignum received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen's University in 1991. After 15 years of clinical work in private practice orthopedics and cardiorespiratory ICU care, she became an instructor and coordinator at Capilano University in the Rehabilitation Assistant Diploma Program. Tracy completed her Masters of Education in Post-Secondary Education from Memorial University in 2011. In 2012 she assumed the role of Manager of Quality Assurance for the College of Physical Therapists of BC. Tracy has a passion for continuing education in the field of memory and retention and has presented at a range of conferences and workshops on the subject. Tracy is the mother of three children. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
