The Frontline: Acapulco Cafe, Lozells Rd, Handsworth, Birmingham, UK - 1980s

The Frontline : Acapulco Cafe - Lozells Rd, Handsworth, Birmingham, UK - 1980s...... Some WICKED footage of how UK frontlines used to run in the 1980s.... The first section is filmed from a Police car and follows a police patrol outside the Acapulco Cafe and shows how the police back in the 1980s used to still be hesitant about walking into Afro - Caribbean meeting places...you even hear the policeman say ' That's the first beer can to be thrown at our patrol car' !! - you also hear the guys hanging outside the cafe telling the Police to move on .......and once the patrol car drives off more beer cans are thrown at it and you hear someone saying 'WE RULE THE AREA!!' (This footage was taken from BBC TV programme 'A Policewoman's Lot' - shown in 1988) The second section is rare footage taken from inside the Acapulco Cafe and interviews the owner - Micheal Micheal ..(This footage was taken from the ITV programme 'After the Riots' - 1986)..... CLASSIC & RARE FOOTAGE OF HOW FRONTLINES USED TO RUN IN THE UK !!!!!! Big up to Guvnah Gregah for enabling the video to be shared !
