https://mikesinventions.etsy.com This video shows how I built some shelves out of pipes. It's very easy, but there are a few "gotchas" I wanted to point out. I guess I'll just spoil the fun right here and let you know what they are in case you don't want to watch it all. But why wouldn't you want to, really? Don't loosen pipes once you've tightened them. They get floppy. Make sure all your distances between the fittings are the same so your shelves end up level. Make sure you can access your hole flanges straight on for mounting to the wall. The thread pitch on these 1/2" pipes is 1/16". Deburr any cut pipes inside and out. Clean the pipes if you intend to paint them. Try to hit the studs with at least one hole per flange for maximum strength.
