Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement grease or oil cap for your Kodiak 7,000 pound, 7,200 pound, and 8,000 pound disc brake kits. Now, this part here will replace one grease cap or oil bath cap that's on your 7,000 pound, or 7,200 pound, or 8,000 pound Kodiak hub and rotor disc brake kit. It is designed to fit 2 1/4 inch diameter spindles only. And this cap will fit on hubs that have the threads on the inside of the hub. You can see it is a nice, clear polycarbonate cap that'll function as either a grease cap or an oil cap. And what's nice is the clear design of the cap allows you to see if your bearings need additional lubrication. It does include this watertight O-ring seal to prevent any leaking of the oil and the grease after you tighten this down. And it has this nice center rubber plug here that can be popped out to add any grease or oil. The thread outer diameter right back here is 2 7/8 of an inch. Now, it does require a 2 3/16 inch size socket or wrench for installation. And as we mentioned, the cap includes the cap, the O-ring, and the plug altogether.
