Pigeon and I headed back out to Wickstead Horseplay with West Oxfordshire Riding Club for some show jump training with Joe MacDonald (and a quick blast around the cross country). I was pleased with Pigeon considering that this is the first time we have jumped this kind of height in over six months, and Pige had a bit of a cough after some dusty hay bales (now being soaked). She got herself a bit excited as usual which (combined with my less than ideal riding) meant the poles were soon flying… But no refusals and she was feeling energetic and happy! I’m less pleased with myself as I seem to have reverted to a habit of panicking slightly in the last stride before the fence… never mind, I will get myself back up to speed soon. Apologies for not replaying to comments on my last video yet. I’m still very busy with my new job and various commitments outside of work… Those funky browbands don’t make themselves you know!
