Melbourne dietitian Feng-Yuan Liu has a Bachelor degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Monash University as well as Post Graduate qualifications in Sports Nutrition through Sports Dietitians Australia, completed at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS). She is also clinical dietitian founder and co-director of Metro Dietetics. Feng-Yuan Liu is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and one of a relatively rare but growing species: a dietitian who is a member of Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) and brave enough to speak up publicly for LCHF (low-carbohydrate, high-fat) diets to treat obesity and diabetes. She and her team at Metro Dietetics utilise up-to-date research to assist clients achieve results, as opposed to following Guidelines and dogma. She believes that nutritional science is a rapidly progressive science, and just following guidelines will not allow her clients to receive the best quality care that is available. Feng-Yuan has now stepped into the role of creating and facilitating innovative programs for Metro Dietetics and The Keto Clinic, and partnerships with other leaders in their field, to bring about a revolutionary change in the space of health and nutrition.
