Intertoto Cup semi-final, second leg Bradford City 0-3 Zenit St Petersburg (agg 0-4) Bradford City's European dream ended when they were humbled 3-0 at Valley Parade. They conceded three second half goals as they pushed forward after being a goal down from the first leg. Zenit St Petersburg were just too good for the Yorkshire side and their better finishing ensured their passage into the InterToto Cup final. Bradford started off brightly but despite having the majority of the possession in the first 45 minutes, they failed to make good use of it with goalkeeper Viacheslav Malafeev untroubled. Exposed . The Bantams continued to push forward and had a number of half chances after the break but it left them exposed at the back and the Russians capitalised. In the 68th minute Aleksandre Spivak powered forward unchallenged from the halfway line before letting fly with a cracking 20-yard shot which Matt Clarke could only parry into the path of Denis Ugarov to head home from close range. Boris Gorovoy made it 2-0 on 75 minutes and victory was wrapped up when substitute Yevgeniy Tarassov, the scorer of the only goal last week, made it 3-0 with just five minutes left on the clock.
