Imagine facing the darkest moment of your life, losing a loved one, and finding yourself alone in the struggle. That's Pooja Sharma's story. Born on July 7, 1996, in Delhi, she went through a heart-wrenching experience on 13/3/2022 when her elder brother was tragically murdered right before her eyes during a petty argument. Alone and abandoned, Pooja carried her brother to GTB Hospital, only to hear the devastating verdict of his demise. In the midst of her own pain, Pooja didn't crumble. Instead, she decided to be a pillar of support for others. No one came forward to help her when she needed it, but she vowed to be there for those who were abandoned and forgotten. Pooja took on the responsibility of performing the last rites for unclaimed bodies given to her by the police and hospitals. She's conducted more than 200 cremations, but her mission goes further. Every month, she travels to Haridwar to immerse the bones of these unclaimed bodies in the sacred waters. It's her way of giving them a dignified farewell. Now, Pooja needs our help. To continue this noble cause, she requires funds for the essential items needed for the cremations and the journey to Haridwar. Your support can make a real difference. Let's come together and ensure that those who are abandoned find peace and respect in their final moments.
