2014 Camaro transmission fluid and filter change.

Camaro V6, This is how I changed the transmission fluid and filter, buy a repair manual and do it the way they say or take it to a Chevy dealer. I use two jacks to jack each end of the car evenly then place the car on jack stands, the jacks are there only for safety. To remove the pan I removed the 14MM plug and drained most of the fluid out, then removed all but two of the pan bolts, one front bolt was just loosened and the back bolt was almost removed so the pan was tilted so more fluid would come out of the 14MM bolt hole. To install I put all the bolts in and worked my way around the pan tightening them evenly, I did not over tighten. I put in 6 QTs then warmed up the trans topped off the level and tested the heat. The fluid taken out was a little under 6.5 quarts because of the filter and any spillage, and new fluid installed was a little over 6.5 quarts. I think the trans holds about 11.4 quarts when dry. Many miles ago I took it to a dealer for a trans fluid flush. I will not do that again. It was expensive and what is the point of replacing fluid without the filter.
