🎦Subscribe--https://bit.ly/3wjVgIN First of all I would like to thank Lhalung Acho Tsega for such a wonderful video. While editing this video I was so curious to know what they are singing, what they are wearing and what are the roles of these different peoples. So I asked the elders available here around me and I came to know these little facts. I am sure there would be more to describe than the what I have described. This video is of Zanskar Lungnak valley's Tangzey village. It is in UT ladakh of India. At this moment of video the groom's side has came to take the bride. Usually the “Natripa” and “Nyevoepa” are the one who will take the bride to the groom's home. a) “Natripa”(སྣ་ཁྲིད་པ་) will carry the bride. Natripa is selected based upon the zodiac sign of bride. There would be only one Natripa. b) “Nyevoepa”(ཉེ་བོ་པ་) are his companies. There are either 5 or 7 Nyevoepa only. c) “Klupon”(གླུ་དཔོན་) is somwhat like the head of the Nyevoepas. He knew all the traditional songs better. d) “Yatopa”(ཡ་ཏོ་པ་) are those girls who are friends of bride and there are from the same village. e) “Serthot(གསེར་ཐོད་) is the hat they are wearing. It is madeup of woods and coated with yellow silk. All these songs they sing are in the scripture. And they really do have very good meaning. I future I will learn them and sing 😃 Connect with me on Instagram / tenzin2380 #zanskar #ladakh #wedding #traditionalweddingsongs #flocksong
