In 1981 computer engineer Masayuki Kato created Nihon Falcom Corporation, a company that would go on to practically invent the action RPG and JRPG genres with the Dragon Slayer series. Not only did Falcom lead the way in innovation with the development of these games for PC gaming, but they also cultivated a wealth of talent that would go on to create other amazing RPG series and even internationally acclaimed anime movies. This video broadly discusses many of Falcom's RPG franchises that mostly spawned from Dragon Slayer.
