First character I completed the game as was Lilac, then I completed the game as Carol. From that I moved to speedrunning Lilac and got a time of 67:01.41 (yes I was bad, ATM WR was 50:15 with Lilac). Then I tried to speedrun Carol because I thought it was a cool character, I got my first time of 61:59.87 and uploaded it to youtube since nobody had any Carol speedruns except for one guy with 2 hour speedrun. I saw a lot of potential with Carol and kept going with it, soon started planning some really optimal routes and fast ways to kill bosses. During this time other people started running Carol, they beat my record by few minutes and slowly got better times, best time being 51 minutes. I observed some of their routes and adapted parts of them to my own route to make a fast route for carol that is somewhat consistent ending up with the route I had here (except that I remember messing up something here and having to use backup route.) I kept running the game over and over again, until I finally got this run. I mostly planned routes on 2014 and moved to runs in 2015 after getting a new PC capable of recording better quality (old pc was dying), also got caught couple great guys speedrunning Carol in twitch. For the last month this has been the only game I have played along with 3 Half-Life speedruns and one Cave Story speedrun, and I'm very happy to show you the results now.
