It uses an 128-bit encoded digital transmission with a range of up to 200m. The receiver has an LED panel that shows you all of your connected transmitters, signal strength and battery life as well as a variety of additional options. It has a safety channel feature that allows you to record your audio at -20db in a separate channel as a failsafe backup. Additionally, the transmitters have a 40h internal memory to record directly onto the device in case transmission is cut out. The RØDE Wireless GO II can connect to digital cameras, smart phones and operate as a USB microphone for your computer. It works with RØDE native applications such as RØDE Connect, RØDE Capture and RØDE Reporter, but also works with your native apps as well as desktop applications such as OBS Studio. In this video I took the RØDE Wireless GO II out with me to test it out in a large number of different situations to see how it would perform.
