Making a Canvas Hot Tent for Winter Camping

Made this tent with my mum. I wanted a hot tent with a frame for quick assembly after struggling with bell tents. I thought making a cover for a canopy tent frame would work well. We made this tent over three weekends, used about 28 yards of 10oz canvas, three 200 yard spools of coates clarke D71 uv resistant thread, a 72" - #10 YKK Brass Separating Zipper, 1/2" seam tape, Silicone Fiberglass Barbeque Mat for the Stove Jack, Ripstop Fabric Skirt, Clear Vinyl for the Window, General Tools 71264 1/2" grommet set. Total tent and frame total cost was about $950 CAD. Applied fire retardant spray. Tent weighs 37lbs packed. Frame is 34lbs. Much thanks to ‪@TheWildYam‬ for her great Baker Tent build tutorial which gave us the the confidence to make this. Materials mostly ordered from JT's Outdoor Fabrics and Amazon. Sewing was done on regular sewing machine with a jeans needle, needle tension at full.
