Her debut single NO SUNSET is an ode to pain, where in its reaction to it, it creates a world where our emotions are floating steadily on what one might imagine a body in a sensory deprivation tank. These sensory attenuation tanks are widely used as a form of alternative medicine allowing an individual to float effortlessly on the surface of the water. The primary function of this isolation tank is to eliminate as many of the external senses as possible, and as one floats weightless in the silence and darkness, the brain is supposed to enter into a deeply relaxed and healing state. The music video is a snapshot of SJU’s attempts to recreate this state in the real world.
