Last summer Cooper and Chris had the opportunity to visit the Taylor factory and spend some time with Taylor Guitars CEO Andy Powers. As part of that visit we had the opportunity to hand select woods with Andy for some very special guitars! Today we showcase two of these very special, one of a kind guitars. One of these guitars is a Grand Pacific cannon made with Adirondack Spruce and Honduran Rosewood! The goal was to create a booming a guitar with a lot of personality and retro inspired, premium features. We opted not to install the standard Taylor ES-2 pickup system, allowing the eventual owner to choose their own pickup or go without one. An ES2 can be installed if desired. The second guitar is breathtaking Grand Auditorium with a sharp florentine cutaway that showcases exotic Black Limba with Torrefied Spruce and unique "Artist" inlay with a Dove and Branch inlay on the headstock.
