In this weeks video, I head for a bouldering session at the Depot Climbing Sheffield...in rental shoes. Climbing shoes are pretty individual and there's a lot on the market to choose from, but how much difference does a performance fit actually make? I decided to try out my climbing gyms rental shoes to test how much a beginner shoe effected my performance on the wall. How did I get on wearing the 'beginner climbing shoes' for a whole session, and would I recommend it to other climbers?
