Building SOLID Furniture from SAND

This time I try building DIY furniture from sand, and specifically to make waterfall nightstands from sand. To do this, I’ll try to figure out how to infuse sand with epoxy resin. The idea is to make furniture that looks like its made from sand - and not just sand suspended in a block of epoxy resin. For this experimental DIY build, we’ll be making nightstand tables or side tables from sand. I’ll also be adding pigment to dye the sand vivid colors. A note on the inspiration for these sand tables - While I had to figure out / reverse engineer the process of dying and infusing sand with resin, I am not the first person to come up with the concept of making furniture from resin-infused sand. I got the idea from a prominent furniture designer and artisan. I am not claiming to have come up with this general concept. However, I can’t credit the designer here, for reasons explained in the video. I used Quikrete Medium commercial grade sand ( https://thd.co/3Y3kBrq ) because in my area (Chicago) it is a white sand. However, I know that in some areas, the Quikrete commercial sand is tan or brown, not white.
