We fear judgment, worry about the impression we’ll make on others if we ask questions, or decide that exploring new ideas is a waste of time. But curiosity, it turns out, is critical for thriving at work and in life—and losing it affects everything from our productivity to our happiness. The good news, says Francesca Gino, is that we can recapture that inquisitive instinct.
