Mehta point | Mainpat | Buka | Buka valley | Bango dam | Golden island | Korba | Chhattisgarh After exploring almost all points in Mainpat, the previous day we got up early in the morning and left for Mehta point which is famous for viewing the sunrise. From there we headed back to our hotel, had our breakfast and headed back towards Korba. Instead of going via Ambikapur we took a diversion at Darima that landed us straight at Lakhanpur on Ambikapur - Kathgora highway. Just before Kathgora a left turn took us straight to Buka. Buka is a beautiful spot connected to Bango dam. The road leading upto Buka is very narrow but once you reach there the beauty of the reservoir and the greenery in and around the place make it a superb destination for nature lovers. There is a resort and also tented accommodation provided by the Forest department. You can also enjoy boating at this place. Could get crowded on weekends. After sunset we headed straight to Korba and checked into Hotel blue diamond.
