Raider is powered by a 124.8 ccbs6-2.0 engine which develops a power of 11.38 PS and a torque of 11.2 Nm. It has Disc front brakes and Drum rear brakes. The weight of TVS Raider is 123 kg and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 10 L. Despite being so peppy and fun to ride, the Raider 125 is one of the five bikes we’ve tested with the best mileage outputs. The TVS Raider competes with the Hero Xtreme 125R, a sporty 125cc commuter. The TVS Raider is a premium 125cc commuter bike from the Hosur-based manufacturer. Being the most feature-rich bike in the segment, the bike comes with an optional TFT display and two riding modes. It stands out from the crowd with the Supersquad Edition featuring Marvel superhero liveries. TVS Raider Price: The TVS Raider 125 is offered in three variants. The base model with a single-piece seat comes in Striking Red or Wicked Black at Rs 95,219. The mid-spec variant with a split seat comes in Fiery Yellow, Blazing Blue, Striking Red, and Wicked Black at Rs 97,019. The SuperSquad Edition with Black Panther and Iron Man themes is priced at Rs 1,00,119. The top-spec SX variant with SmartXonnect connectivity is available in Fiery Yellow, Forza Blue and Wicked Black at Rs 1,03,570 (all prices are ex-showroom Delhi). TVS Raider Features: The TVS Raider comes with an LED headlight, DRLs, and an LED tail light, along with halogen indicators. The 125cc commuter features a USB charging port and gets a combined braking system (CBS) as standard, it also comes with a convenient underseat storage compartment ideal for safely storing a smartphone or other small items. The base, mid variant, and the SuperSquad Edition models feature multi-colour LCD instrument cluster which displays real-time information such as mileage, fuel range, gear position indicators, helmet reminders, trip meter (including a reserve-specific one), odometer, clock, fuel gauge, and even a top speed/average speed tracker. In contrast, the top-end SX variant features a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and even voice assistance that offers turn-by-turn navigation, petrol pump locations, weather updates, music control, call/message notifications, and live cricket scores. TVS Raider Engine: The TVS Raider is powered by a 124.8cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 11.38PS and 11.2Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine includes an internal oil cooler to manage heat effectively. It has two different riding modes, Eco and Sport, along with a quiet starter and an idling stop-start system to improve mileage, especially on city commutes. TVS Raider Suspension and Brakes: The TVS Raider comes with a telescopic fork and a rear monoshock with 5-step preload adjustability. For braking, it uses a 130mm drum front brake as standard with an optional 240mm petal disc and a 130mm drum brake at the rear. This 125cc bike rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels equipped with 80-section front and 100-section rear tubeless tyres. Weighing 123kg and boasting a ground clearance of 180mm, the Raider provides a well-balanced package. TVS Raider Rivals: In the 125cc segment, the TVS Raider faces rivals such as the Honda SP 125, Hero Glamour Xtec, Keeway SR125, and premium alternatives like the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 and Hero Xtreme 125R.
