One, using a dry brushing technique, with plenty of hard edges and thin overlapping layers; and the other, using wet on wet, rendered with softer boundaries and fewer layers. This is an easy enough exercise for beginners to follow along - perfect for practicing water and brush control, and exploring the range of effects you can achieve by simply varying your techniques.
