My hair was in major need of a trim and I was planning my annual trip to Melbourne to get my hair cut by the lovely people at Neel Loves Curls but then Covid got real in NZ. I hadn’t gotten a trim in a year and while I am trying to grow my hair out longer, my ends were definitely in need of some TLC. I was getting desperate so I trolled curly hair FB groups until I came across a method that people were using to cut their own curly hair at home - the Unicorn Method.
