This week’s video discusses ‘The Explosive Child’ book summary written by Dr Ross Greene. It is a compassionate, insightful, and extremely practical book, based on research in neuroscience, providing a step-by-step framework for understanding and managing ‘behaviorally challenged’ kids or working with behaviorally challenged students at school - Ross Greene Collaborative Problem Solving framework (known as CPS). The book provides a guide on how to collaboratively and proactively problem-solve with your child - 'Ross Greene Plan B' and 'Ross Greene Lagging Skills'. It’s extremely helpful if you have a child that has been officially diagnosed with ADHD or ODD for instance but it also provides clear steps on how to parent strong willed children and/or simply if you are trying to solve recurring issues you have encountered with your child like refusing to go to school in the morning for example.
