I set off early out of Bo’ness along the way. I follow the coast mostly to Blackness Castle then past to South Queensferry. I find tiny deer on massive estates along the firth of Fourth. At 22miles into the day I split from the official way and dive into the heart of Edinburgh. The next day holds more exploration of the old city and a climb atop Arthur’s Seat before rejoining the way and continuing on to a hotel near Musselburgh for the night.
