Hello in this test i will compare the speeds of the new Scania S730 V8 with the New Scania R730 V8. Both trucks were factory i added no modifications, Both had 6X2 short chassis, Both have the same 730BHP engine with a 6 Speed automatic retarded transmission. I had to use 6 speed because i could not find a road long enough for the 12 speed to hit 60MPH without having to steer which could've made the test unfair, sorry. Disclaimer- Every effort was taken to make this test fair, however because of some circumstances the results may not be 100% accurate for example I was using a keyboard which could mean acceleration is not as fast as possibly pedals or a joystick, The road surface may not have been the exact same on each test, The gradient of any in climb or decline. Each truck was repeated twice one on camera one off, both times results were pretty much the same. In this test both trucks drew with each other, with the results being so close different variables were probably the cause for the slight difference in time.
