And its on every platform and cheap so there's no reason to live your life without playing it. It's even available on mobile devices. It's on everything. So dont read the next paragraph and don't watch this video. Go play the damn game! Honestly if you claim to be an RPG fan and never play FFIX you're a lousy RPG fan in my humble opinion. I love this game so much and it is so epic that when I was younger I owned an unopened copy of the game for PS1 AND I DIDN'T EVEN OWN A PLAYSTATION TO PLAY IT ON. I originally played this on a friend's PS1. So go play the game if you haven't and thank me later! (SPOILER ALERT notes section) (do not read this or watch this video if you plan on playing this game someday) I just completed a casual playthrough of Final Fantasy IX. Nine and Six are my favorites and I am playing them both to figure out which one is #1 for me after all these years. I played through the game blind and beat the final bosses on first attempt. I was over lvled but I still got my butt kicked a bit by Necron and just barely won. Wasn't an optimized fight but I will take the close victory thanks to Freya. Freya was the true MVP. One other thing I just want to say is that I didn't know you can't cast life on a dead ally who has auto-reflect on. They reflect your life spell even in their death. I wouldn't have done that had I had to fight Necron a 2nd time. I would have changed a lot of things - such as NEVER using elixers and instead going for hi-potions - what was I thinking?! FFIX is a great fing game. The ending will make you cry (unless you're as robotic as me and it still tried to get me) and just stop reading this and play the game already. Check out people who live streamed this ending and watch them all start crying. Great game. One of the best. S-tier. SO I just wanted to post this on my tiny Youtube for the sake of memories. I'll replay this again in the future and next time my lineup is going to include Eiko, Amarant and Steiner. Quina is alright but too much of a coin flip for me and I don't want to catch a hundred+ frogs for Quina's best attack. Or maybe give everyone coral rings and have Vivi cast Thundaga on the team for heals. That or his shadow damage attack. Could be fun.... If you read this you're an MVP too because I really don't try to build a youtube/online following but I sure act like I have one sometimes and this long description is evidence of that fact.
