Attempting to program an Arduino to communicate with a Makita 18v Li-Ion battery to unlock it. The battery in question has suffered from the famous three strike lockout when placed on the charger a while back. Have had the battery in storage ever since, opened it up, confirmed the cells were ok and manually charged them. Thank you very much to Martin Jansson for diving into the Makita platform and reverse engineering the protocol.
