Our day trip to Tasmania's famous Cradle Mountain near Launceston! We show you our accommodations in Ulverstone, the Beachway Motel & Restaurant, for our short weekend trip, and then head to Cradle Mountain National Park for a full day of hiking and exploring! We take their shuttle up to Ronny Creek where we begin our hike to Marion's lookout and then onward to hike Cradle Mountain itself! On the way, we found an adorable wombat and a crazy character. At the last moment, Alan decided that we should attempt to summit Cradle Mountain, which he did successfully! After a full day of hiking, we head back to Ulverstone!
