This video features TAROM Airbus A310-300, YR-LCA, departing from Runway 08R at Bucharest Henri Coandă (Otopeni) Airport, bound for Amsterdam as flight RO361. Included is the Captain's welcome announcement (in Romanian and English) before we depart. TAROM are one of the few remaining A310 operators in the world, so it was quite something to finally be able to fly on one of these beautiful aircraft! Enjoy this spectacular departure video, and be sure to turn the volume up for the sound of those PW engines! Some trivia on this special aircraft: it was involved in an incident some 21 years ago, whereby it stalled on the approach to Paris Orly Airport and fortunately managed to recover some 800ft from the ground. It has operated without major incident since.
