These Artist Model Fernandes are hidden gems - rarely seen outside their home market, and the artists (Judy & Mary in this case) probably completely unknown to us. This is an active FGI-T pick-up set - bright and punchy through amps, and precise and almost clinical through the desk. Simplicity rules here - no fancy tricks, not even a tone control. This has a meatier neck than most Fernandes models, and is a very well built thing. A couple of parking knocks, but looks stunning regardless. A real workhorse, and I bet there aren't many more around. This was a regular go-to guitar for the recently and tragically departed Keith Levene - it lived in his studio for most of his last few months and we would regularly use it to explore ideas.
