The claim is a great one, because the JW Marriott Mauritius Resort is backed by the UNESCO World Heritage site of Le Morne Mountain. I would have to agree with the claims as you would have to try very hard to beat that amazing back-drop! It was such an amazing location as you can see from this video. The beach is perfect and the views from the sky looking back to the Le Morne mountain are breathtaking. The distinctive architecture of the buildings on Mauritius reflects the island nation’s history as a colonial trade base, which connected Europe to the West with Asia to the East. The beach-side villas at JW Marriott Mauritius Resort on Le Morne are no exception, and you can see by the beautifully designed rooftops in this video. One of the things I loved most about Mauritius was the fact that it’s such a ‘melting pot’ of different cultures, who all live peacefully together. The community feeling it lovely and it makes you feel so welcome. Also, it means that the food is absolutely brilliant and always delicious! 😋 Mauritius has a rich history and it’s somewhere I would highly recommend to everyone. The island is positioned in the Indian Ocean, to the east of Africa and to the south-west of Asia.
