We were sent a Beer Line Cleaning Kit by the nice folks at 5 Start North. This kit comes to us just in time for Mike to rescue some bad beer in his beer lines. This kit is a basic little hand pump for pushing liquid cleaner through your beverage line and out the faucet of your kegerator. The unique aspect of this set up is that it uses a ball lock connector on the end of some tubing so all you have to do is disconnect the beer line from the keg and then connect it to the hand pump. The cleaning solution sits in the beer line for 15 minutes and then after a rinse with water, you are good to go. I view this kit as a quick and easy solution for routine, semi-weekly beer line cleaning. It will keep your lines and faucets satisfactorily clean in between doing a monthly or every other month full breakdown of faucets, tubing and connectors.
