Kalyon PV - Story of the First Integrated Solar Technologies Factory of Europe

Kalyon PV was established with the aim of meeting the increasing energy demand of future generations, driven by the growing population in Türkiye and worldwide. As the renowned Photovoltaic Panel Factory and Solar Power Plant investments both in Türkiye and globally, Kalyon Holding embarked on its first solar energy investment, Kalyon Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Technologies Factory (Kalyon PV), which started its operations on August 19, 2020. Positioned within a closed area of 100,000 square meters and featuring a vertically integrated production system, Kalyon PV consists of a total of 4 factories and an R&D center. With this unique distinction, it holds the title of being the world's first and only integrated facility. The factory, with a capacity of 2 gigawatts (GW) for continuous production in ingot, wafer, cell, and module factories, produces its products with over 90% domestic content.
