I felt like I had unfinished business in the Welsh Valleys after our last visit to Gwent/Monmouthshire. That was a real eye opener and there were some really grim places. Especially Abertillery, Rhymney and Newport. But we only managed to cover half the valleys which is a place well known for its government neglect and poverty. You probably haven't even heard of most of the places in today's video but once again it was an eye opener. Historic Mid Glamorgan covers Bridgend County, Merthyr County and Rhondda Cynon Taff. Merthyr Tydfil was the only places I'd visited before so this was mostly a new experience for Turdtowns.
